There is definitely a place for rock ‘n’ roll to jive with environmental responsibility.
In addition to sustainable designs, we almost always encourage functionality–crafts that are just as useful as they are beautiful reduce clutter and allow you to focus in on the practical side of crafting. This is important for both end-user and artist.
Ultimately, creative re-use of materials has the potential to spark new ways of looking at the world–if one object can be turned into another, what else can we change?
